Committee Gears Up for Judge Race

Today, May 21, Randall Gaylord announced that the "Gaylord for Judge" committee reaffirmed their commitment to electing Gaylord as the first judge elected by the citizens of San Juan County only. Until this year, judges serving San Juan County were elected by the citizens in San Juan County and a neighboring county.

The Gaylord for Judge committee was formed in June 2007 in anticipation of a 2007 election. The position was then filled with an interim appointment until the 2008 election.

Randall Gaylord has served San Juan County since 1995 as the elected prosecuting attorney, a job that has prepared him well for years of leadership from the bench.
